Dear all
By using a regular stylesheet link <link href=”…”> in I detected a weird issue provoked by the %20-placeholder.
Just playing arround with the several deploy approaches I created a super absolute Path HTML-Masterpage. Then I created its Design-Package und deployed it on the same server, using a different Site Collection.
While importing the design package Sharepoint replaces the space between “Style Library” with its placeholder “%20” (/path/Style%20Library/Themable/style.css).
Strangely but true: Sharepoint won’t find the refered css-file with the placeholder in its URL. If I replace the placeholder with the regular “space” character (/path/Style Library/Themable/style.css), Sharepoint serves the new Design perfectly.
For this reason I tried to place our Style Information to several locations not using spaces in between its paths (e.g SiteAssets, etc.). But after the import of the deployed design-package there were some files missing, overwritten or wrongly placed. This seems to be caused by the fact that those folders are not intended for containing style information.
Any Ideas?
