Calling a WCF service through SharePoint 2013 app

Hi,

I have created a very simple wcf service and hosted it in azure. I can call that wcf service through javascript in my html page.

Can i do the same within a SharePoint App (SharePoint Hosted) in 2013 Online?

Or there is some restrictions around it?
