Work flow process is not triggerred when i do approval through Manage content and structure in sharepoint 2007

Hi all,

I am working with sharepoint 2007. When i publish an item through manage content and structure from draft version it is triggering workflow and status is changed to pending. But when i approve any pending item , it is not triggering any workflow and status is still in pending. It would be very thankful if somebody give a solution for my question. Thanks many...
