I have checked all the permissions and they are fine. Been through the forums so many times with the same answer. Add DB_Owner to the databases I did that as well. but now I am at my wits end. Cant even get VS to allow creation and use of the SharePoint server. The Server is running on the same machine as Visual Studio Also the SQL Server is running on the same server. I am looking into any updates.
Updated Visual Studio Still not working also cannot validate the server as well getting this error now:
I am just trying to create a new Visual Web Part Project and validate the site.
I can continue but I will not be able to Deploy I will get the first error.
SharePoint Connection Error
Cannot connect to the SharePoint site: <MySiteUrlHere>. Make sure that the Site URL is valid and that the current user has the necessary permissions to access the site.
