(answers in German are perfect, I wrote this text for international purpose...;-)
I will use Business Connectivity Services (BCS) of Sharepoint 2013 (on-premise) to generate an External content type (ECT). The BCS has to connect to an
oData Source. My oData source is MS Dynamics CRM 2011 online.
As you will read all over internet:
- Sharepoint 2013 BCS is able to handle oData
(YES, I was able to connect to a free accessile oData source while walking through all requested steps incl. Visual Studio 2012, etc.) ==> Perfect
- Dynamics CRM 2011 online is having a REST endpoint so it can provide its data as an oData source
(YES, you can open the endpoint by browser and you will get the data) ==> Perfect
BUT...
If you try to connect from Sharepoint 2013 (oData consumer) to Dynamics CRM 2011 online (oData source) you will get no data. It seems there is a problem
with the authentication methode. I'm not able to configure any correct connection method (without programming).
Is there anyone outside who will understand me or (at least) has the same problem?
Feel free to contact me for getting into more details on this issue. I want to use as less program code as possible.
