Recently i began to developing sharepoint 2013 on my office365 account.
I need a way to invoking tasks in given time intervals.
For example every hour invoke an action adding item to sharepoint list.
In classic sharepoint solution there are SpTimerJobs for it.
But problem is that in sharepoint online there is no ability to do this.
Timer jobs are not avaiable.
My question is - anybody know some equivalent/replacement for timer job.
I mean how to invoke specific actions in time intervals/ start an action at specific hour?
I can add that there are autohosted and provider hosted options for sharepoint online, which means that piece of code is placed on windows azure account. Internal windows azure(autohosted), or external(provider hosted).
Any ideas?
