Sharepoint 2013 add files using REST call from java client

Hello Experts,

I have been looking for a way to add a file to Sharepoint 2013 along with its properties (read metadata).

I need to achieve this using a REST call from a java code.

I have searched a lot on net, but could not get a working sample for the same.

It would be great if someone can share a sample for adding file to sharepoint 2013 using REST through Java.
