We are using SharePoint 2013 online for Project Management. We are syncing from an on-premises install of Project 2010.
We are trying to roll-up or sync task list between site collections.
Simple site map:
Site Collection A (Client sites)
--- Client Subsite 1
--- Client Subsite 2
--- Client Subsite 3
Site Collection B (My sites)
--- Consultant A Subsite
--- Consultant B Subsite
--- Consultant C Subsite
What we are trying to achieve is that when the project is updated within Site collection A, that the tasks sync to the Site Collection B my sites, so that each consultant (or resource) can see their tasks without having to login to each client subsite in Site Collection A.
If anyone can point us in the right direction, we would greatly appreciate it. We are wondering if web parts will achieve this, or will it take 3rd party product or custom coding.
