I'm trying to deploy a very basic remote event receiver, included in a provider-hosted high-trust app, to an on-premise SharePoint 2013 developer site. I'm trying to deploy the app from my Windows 7 machine that has VS 2012 (with SharePoint 2013 Developer Tools - Preview 2).
The deployment failed (Exception Message at end of question). My questions are:
1. Is it possible to develop and deploy remote event receivers on a client machine such as: Windows 7/8?
2. Can anyone give me some insight with the exception message below?
