Excel (2013) Chart Objects - Real Time Connection to Team Foundation Server

Greetings all,

We are doing charting the goes beyond the complexity that the TFS (2012) charting feature allows, but have a situation where the TFS <-> Excel data refresh takes around 5 minutes.

With the goal of real-time data in our charts (even close to real time) we are far short of that goal.

The question......is it possible to.....

1. Create a chart in Excel (using TFS->Excel data)
2. Place the chart object in Sharepoint
3. Replace the updating Excel data streams that are feeding the chart object with real time SQL query data streams from TFS?
4. Excel Chart Object now enjoys real time data feed from TFS/SQL

Or anything along those lines......
