Adding Events to Overlayed Calendar

I've had very little experience with SharePoint 2010, but I'm working on the Overlay Calendar feature.  I would like to be able to add events on my overlayed calendar that would also transfer over to the specific calendar it related to as well.

E.g. Team PTO Calendar & Employee 1 PTO - Add straight from Team Calendar & be added to Employee 1 PTO at the same time.
