While creating a Sharepoint 2013 Service Application....

I clicked the New>>SQL Server PowerPivot Service Application>>

Filled in the web form 

Name=PowerPivotServiceApp2

Create a new application pool Application pool name = PowerPivotServiceApp2

Select a security account for this application pool = Configurable [Domain\ServiceAccount]

I used the pre-configured service account. (Local Admin & Farm Administrator Account & SharePoint Installation Service Account).

Database server = SERVERNAME

Database name = PowerPivotServiceApp2

Database authentication = Windows authentication

Click OK.

Wait for the screen "Create New Power Pivot Service Application -  This shouldn't take long."

I have looked online for similar problems and nothing resolves the issue. 

SQL 2012 SP1 Install Fresh with SharePoint Integrated SSRS on First Test Server. 

Sharepoint 2013 Enterprise on Second Test Server.

Can anyone assist with this? Ultimately this share point Server was to integrate with AX 2012 R2 for the Role Center integration.
