PowerShell script to import Content Types into SharePoint 2013

I am working with a Powershell Script trying to add Content Types and it is not working.  My script is based on the the script posted by Kelly Rusk (http://blogs.captechconsulting.com/blog/kelly-rusk/bulk-creation-sharepoint-site-columns-and-content-types-powershell-part-2).

The script is throwing errors on the 2013 platform and I am looking for the script and sample csv to get this to work.
