Social Feed in SharePoint 2013

Hi All,

How does the feed get deleted automatically in SharePoint 2013?? Likewise in SharePoint 2010 there was a timer job which states that feeds get cleared off from the database after 14 days...

Or is there any API available under Social Feed API section which handles this part??
