I have Single Server SharePoint 2013 Development environment, I have create two CNAME entry in DNS :www.solutionsapps.com & apps.solutionsapps.com, after that I created a web application with "www.solutionsapps.com" as host header, and after that created a host header based site collection on the newly created web application by " apps.solutionsapps.com" with the powershell, after that created a custom solution and deployed at Site Level, this custom solution picks few entry from the web.config file, this solution is working file when I call this webpart fromwww.solutionsapps.com , but when I try to call that webpart from "apps.solutionsapps.com" that application showing the error of null reference for that appsetting entry, after doing so cut and copy I figured out that webpart of apps.solutionsapps.com is picking the entry from my other sharepoint web application which has no link with this "www.solutionsapps.com" web application, and picks the entry from http://localhost only,
can any one explain why this is happening.
