We have several hardware engineers that have published access databases to cloud based SharePoint 2013 Sites and I would like to connect to the data using SQL Management Studio (SQL Client tools) so I can interact with the data. When I try to put in the server information and pass credentials to it I get an error message about using Azure portal to run scripts and change permissions. None of the Engineers here have Azure accounts (or so they think) so accessing the Azure portal to change permissions is not possible. Anyone know how I can interact with the Access database hosted on the cloud? How can they give me permission ? How can I help them to get proper credentials to connect via SQL client tools?
Ideally I want to port the data to SQL Server 2012 and create reports via SSRS but need to get to that data..
Thanks,
Julie
