We have a similar situation that seems to be frustrating a number of users. SharePoint 2007 library, with about 1,000 documents in it. We group and filter with metadata columns, so it's well organized. However, if we want to copy, say 30 documents to another location, based on a column value, there doesn't appear to be a simple way to grab them all. If we switch to Explorer View, we lose all the grouping and filtering, we see the whole list of documents and have to try to pick through them by title. If we keep the grouping, we can only copy one document at a time.
Has anyone found a workaround, or less painful alternative to these choices?
