I´m have trouble setting the metadata on a folder I create in document set from my custom user control.
My environment: SharePoint 2013
My solution: Farm
On my sharepoint site I have a list with document sets in it that are created with a custom content type. In the document sets I've allowed another custom content type for creating folders and all of that is working fine. But the user creates the folders through a user control that I made and here´s were I'm having trouble with one of the columns for the folders. One of the columns in the custom content type for the folder is "Assigned to" and that´s the one that doesn't work. I doesn't give me any errors it's just no metadata in that column on the newly created folder. All other columns work and are filled with the data the user puts in the user control. I know you can´t put in a SPUser on the folder.Properties.Add method so i tried many different properties that is of type string from object SPUser but nothing seems to work.
Anyone have a solution for this?
