Automatic thumbnail generation and H.264

Hi,

Testing with an on premise installation with the Desktop Experience feature activated. Thumbnails are successfully generated automatically when I upload a WMV or an MP4 that I manually set cover art via an application like Mp3Tag.

Is there something I'm missing or does auto thumbnail generation just not work out-of-the-box for certain encoding types like H.264?
