I created a custom list by importing from an Excel Spreadsheet. In my attempt to import "pictures" - it did not work, instead gave me a column with the hyperlinks text to the pictures. I then added another column on that list and chose the "picture". I used the text URL from the column I imported and paste it into the new Picture column. Now I need to delete the column with the URL text and there is no "delete" button like there are on the other columns.
When I tried to delete it using various Powershell scripts, I get errors like "you can't do this to a base column" or "you can't do this because of it's current status". I looked into it further and reviewed the list of content types and site columns, but the "column" in question is not listed in either of those areas for me to delete. The system sees it as a Content Type column in an Item List.
